MLA Panel: Baleful Postcoloniality

This panel includes papers from India to Hawaii, from the Strait of Gibraltar to Palestine. It focuses on narratives of life and death on the social and political margins of the nation and the globe. Tamil Dalits (Shankar), Hawaiin rebels (Kuwada), Moroccan migrants (Alvarez) and Palestinian exiles (Hassan) are the subjects of these narratives. Their stories take the forms of testimonio, fictionalizations, biography and eulogies.
